We have a whole list of things that we are going to do to her. She
needs a headliner, new carpet, avionics, engine OH, a new dorsal
fin, among other things. After that she will be up for sale, unless I
decide to keep her by then.  I sure have enjoyed flying her!

On the third of December, Jeannette and I went to New Jersey to
pick up N1978Z. Jeannette found her on E-bay. Her wings were
off,  as she had just been painted. We put the wings back on, got
her flying,  flew her to North Carolina to visit my mom, and then
up to Michigan to visit my dad. Our plan was to be home in 2
weeks.  While in Michigan, I met up with my old friend Andy. Andy
was one of the ones that helped me when I started building my
Hummelbird years ago.  Through him I found out about a
Comanche 260 project that was going on. It had been landed with
the gear up. Being the sheet metal guy that I am, I couldn't help
getting involved. Jeannette and I just got back home February 16.
