When Mario Maccarone was 13 years old,
driven by a passion to fly, he started
constructing a Hummelbird from plans.
That passion continues to drive him and
now with 14 years of aircraft sheet-metal
experience he is committed to an ever
increasing standard of quality.
Mario
believes that life is short and that it must
be spent doing something that you love
and that you can be proud of.
Mario says "Time is the most valuable
thing any of us have, you can always get
more money. Money is important but it
won't be worth much when your all out of
time." The main reason I do what I do is for
the joy and satisfaction I get. To me there
is nothing more satisfying than taking a
roll of aluminum and turning it in to
something I can get in to and ride though
the sky in. This is magic!"
Mario does not by any means consider
him self a master craftsman. He says. "The
worst part about knowing every thing is, it
is impossible to learn any thing. I love
learning new things and I hope I always
will."
Mario is always looking for new
challenges. If you have a project that you
must have done right
